After the class go for hike around the retreat Centre, walk in  forest, visit small village during your free time.  This place is run by the husband Biren Shrestha( a Nepali actor too) who is the good manager and his Wife Kriti is the main yoga teacher. This place is very safe with a friendly environment.

Daily Schedule:

1st Day:

  • 12:00pm           _   Check-in relax and enjoy the  herbal tea or coffee.

  •  4:30-5:00pm  _   Steam or Sauna Bath

  •  5:30-6:30pm  _    Yoga Nidra Meditation

2nd Day:

• 07-9:00am         –      Energizing morning yoga and breathing practice.

• 09-9:15am         –       Light Breakfast 

• 10:30–1:00pm –       Short hiking, walk in nature,   visit village,  ancient temple and Gumba. 

• 01_1:15pm         –      Delicious Lunch  

• 5:30–6:30pm     _     Sound healing therapy for physical & mental relaxation.

• 07-7:15pm          –      Dinner – fully vegetarian.

3rd Day:

• 07-9:00am         –    Energizing morning yoga and breathing practice.

• 09-9:15am         –     Healthy  Breakfast

• 11-12:00pm       _     Reiki healing therapy to reduce stress & anxiety. 

• 01-1:15pm          _    Delicious lunch to nourish you after your healing session.

• 5:30–6:30pm   _     Meditation Practice.

4th Day:

On the fourth day, we’ll embark on a challenging hike to the top of Chandragiri Hill, a 4-hour ascent to 2,500 meters above sea level. As you hike, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, stunning scenery, and wildlife. On clear days, you’ll even have the chance to catch a glimpse of Mount Everest from the summit. Please note that you’ll be responsible for your own meals and the cost of returning by cable car. After the hike, you’ll unwind with a 90-minute massage to relax your body, mind, and breath. In case of rain or bad weather, we’ll skip the hike and instead enjoy morning yoga, a 90-minute afternoon massage, and evening meditation.

 

5th Day:

• 07-9:00am      –     Energizing morning yoga and breathing practice.

• 09-9:15am       –     Delicious Breakfast

• 11-12:00pm    _      Sound healing therapy to reduce stress & anxiety. 

• 01-1:15pm        –     Delicious lunch to nourish you after your healing session.

• 5:30–6:30pm _     Meditation practice.

• 07-7:15pm        –   Dinner – fully vegetarian.

6th Day:

Sight-Seeing: On day six, we will take for a day tour in Nepal’s most iconic historical landmarks. You’ll discover the Kathmandu  rich culture, religion, temples, history, markets and cuisine. Our day begins at 8 AM with a visit to the Monkey Temple. Next, we’ll explore Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, where we’ll stop for breakfast. Afterward, we’ll continue to the majestic Boudhanath Stupa and then head to Thamel, a tourist  area known for shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. You’ll have some free time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own. We’ll return to the retreat center  around 5 PM. Transportation is provided from the school, but you’ll be responsible for your meals and the  entrance fees to temples and historical sites during the excursion.

 

7th Day:

• 07-9:00am  _    Morning yoga with a nourishing splash of pranayama.

• 09:00am     _    Breakfast before you head to your next adventure.

• 12:00pm     _    Check out.

Our 7 days yoga retreat in Nepal allows people to reside in a beautiful Nepalese traditional guest house where you will be placed in very lovely, eco-friendly accommodations situated amidst acres of blossoming gardens, hiking trails, the mountains, the forest, the hills and absolutely breathtaking views from the yoga retreat. The retreat Centre is clean with all amenities for your comfort; clean bed sheets, towels, AC, 24-hours of free Wi-Fi, own attached bathrooms with hot & cold water balcony, and very helpful staff for your service.

This Yoga retreat is located at the foothills of Chandragiri hill 30-40 minutes away from city, 1700 meter Hight from Kathmandu valley in nature. Our location offers the best you can hope for. We sit cozily between two hills at 2000 meters above sea level which gives you peace , silence, fresh mountain air, stunning views of Kathmandu valley as well as the Himalayan ranges of Annapurna and other mountains.

 

Food during Retreats

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared daily and include healthy vegetarian options. Our retreat  food is made from vegetables grown in the area, organic when available, and prepared with nourishing ingredients. Examples of Nepali style meals are traditional root-vegetables and lentils curry with white and brown rice, seasonable vegetables and fruits salad and roti, as well as plenty of green vegetables and fruits harvested by the villagers themselves,  brown toast with honey, butter,  jam, and for breakfast; green herbal tea with many more options.

Our  kitchen is open and attached to the canteen (you can always see what’s going on). All food is served buffet-style. There is always water, tea, and seasonal fruits in the dining hall for you to snack on.
The food is prepared with love, peace, gratitude, and positive intention, in order to increase and sustain prana. If you have special dietary requirements it’s a good idea to communicate them to the organizer when making your reservation.
