FAQ

For your convenience we’ve assembled a couple of most Frequently Asked Questions with their answers. If you don’t find your question here, or the answer is still unclear please do not hesitate to contact us!

  • What are your opening hours?
    Morning 8:00 am to last evening 8:00 pm
  • What should I bring with me?
    We provide you with robe, slippers and towels, and will present you with a locker key to secure your belongings. Mandala Yoga Studio and Spa cannot take responsibly for personal belongings. We recommend you bring your bathing suit when you want to enjoy our sauna and steam facilities. For certain massage therapies we recommend you to wear easy clothing. But don’t worry if you’re outfit is not suitable; Mandala Yoga Studio and Spa has always suitable clothing for your convenience.
  • What do I have to wear?
    Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, except for panties. However, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. You have complete privacy when disrobing in our changing room. Your body will be covered the whole time during therapy and only the area to be massaged will be exposed. Our massage rooms are divided by curtains for your convenience. Robes and slippers are provided before and after treatments. For some massage treatments you will be offered a special unisex, ‘one size fits all’, massage dress.
  • Can I eat and drink in the Spa & Health Club?
    Food is provided in the Spa from the Spa menu, alcohol we do not allow. No food is allowed in the treatment rooms. We recommend you to drink plenty of water before and after your treatments.
  • Do I need to make a reservation and how long in advance?
    We advice you strongly to do so. You can either do this via phone or via mail. One month in advance is the maximum and easier is one week, two/three days in advance. Even the day itself is possible but please keep in mind that therapy hours can be flexible.
  • How & when do I pay?
    You can pay cash at our reception before each class. We don’t accept cards nor cheques. We don’t provide credit.
  • Do you accept MasterCard/visa?
    Yes we do.
  • What time shall I arrive?
    Best is to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
  • Can I use a mobile phone?
    Mobile phones are not permitted within Mandala Yoga Studio and Spa and we ask our guest kindly to refrain from using them while visiting.
  • Are groups welcome in Mandala Yoga Studio and Spa?
    You most welcome and we give special spa services and special yoga classes for group.
  • What should I do before a treatment?
    We recommend you to have a shower before enjoying our treatments. You can do this at home or there is a shower available for your convenience.
  • I have: an injury/a hernia/had an operation/a condition/a miscarriage. Do I need to inform my therapist?
    When making reservations, please notify our reception desk if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant (there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, specifically in the first trimester, but many that can be enjoyed). We will make sure we find the most suitable treatment/relaxation for your needs.
  • How do I know which are the most suitable treatments?
    Our skilled staff will advise and assist you in selecting the correct treatment(s) and also in planning other aspects of your spa programme. When making your reservation, please state whether your preference is either or a male or female therapist.
  • How about my comfort?
    Your spa experience is your time, and you should delight in it to the fullest. If you experience discomfort due to room temperature, massage pressure, music volume or any other conditions, please tell your therapist immediately. If you have other preferences like either a male or female therapist please notify our reception desk in advance.

  • Do I have to shave before my treatment?
    No, you do not. If you choose to do so, please do so at least 6 to 8 hours prior to your appointment.
  • What if I am late for my appointment?
    Arriving late will simply limit the time of your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged.
  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?
    If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the spa at least six hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee. If you paid an advance you get your money back in case of an ‘on time’ cancellation. Cancellations of packages or private parties require one week’s notice. I booked an appointment and already paid. I did not show up.
  • Do I get my money back?
    Except in case of force majeure, you do not.
  • Do I need to tip my therapist?
    This is completely your own choice and at your discretion.
